My favorite thing to do when traveling is finding little hole in the wall spots to eat breakfast or brunch. I had the chicken caprese sandwich and Lechera Waffle. Both were large portions and tasted phenomenal. The coffee is strong and will wake you up. We tried the Horchata blended and the Strawberry Horchata iced. Both came in large cups. I would come here again any day.
Favorite brunch place nearby with visits. A large variety of delicious food and incredible coffee, with very fair price. I love the French toast combo, coconut latte, matcha latte and tiramisu latte!
This is the best breakfast I’ve ever had anywhere in the US. We loved it so much during our stay in Pasadena that we came two days in a row! Every item we loved - waffles, smoothies, teas, omelette- all of the staff were so patient and kind- everything was so fresh and beautifully plated!!
Extensive menu of fresh, well-prepared food. The portions are very, emphasis on VERY, generous. Couldn't have been happier with my salmon scramble! Atmosphere was cozy and we really enjoyed the 80's music playing overhead. Fun and tasty experience overall! 10/10
We were staying at the nearby Pasadena Hotel, and in search of a breakfast spot and were lucky to stumble upon the Old Town Caffe. The service is incredibly friendly and the prices are fair. Portions are very generous and the food is absolutely delicious. We got the deluxe waffle, breakfast burrito, and both an iced and hot latte. The whipped cream on the waffle was homemade and the sauce with burrito had a nice hint of spice. The next time we’re in the area we’ll definitely be back.
Came before work, and the service was friendly and quick. You order at the counter and they deliver the food to you very quickly. The French toast combo was really good! Cooked my eggs exactly how I like them. The French toast was yummy. Also got the cafe de olla and it was also good!
Breakfast Burrito was fantastic. I had chicken added as extra protein. Very generous serving. Great value. I will definitely be back to try some more items on the menu. Coffee was great too!
Great spot for breakfast on the second floor of the building - exactly what I was looking for! They have a wide variety for every taste, and it’s all good. The portions are very generous. I had probably the biggest veggie omelette I’ve ever had. I got a side of toast, but when the food came out I realized I ordered too much… of course I ate it all. My next visit was avocado toast with salmon. No thin slices of salmon - it was piled on thick toast and generous avocado spread. Delicious! Oh, and the coffee is good, like a rich medium roast. A couple people were coming in just for coffee. It was all delicious, fast and the people are great! The only drawback is that it is not a large place, so plan accordingly. I’ve been back already and I’ll return the next time I’m in the neighborhood. Give Old Town Cafe a try you’ll have a great breakfast. Remember, it’s upstairs. Cheers.
Delicious breakfast which is enough for two people so it's reasonably priced. The bacon was the best part. Potatoes are deep fried and I like mine less greasy. A lot of customers came in so it's a popular spot. I loved that they were able to make me iced coffee with oatmilk. The staff is friendly and the food comes out fast. They will seat you or you can seat yourself. You order at the counter and they give you a number and they bring your food to you. If you come to the front, you walk up stairs but staff said there is a large parking lot in the back and a ramp for accessibility. I will definitely come here again! Today I got the toasted salmon cream cheese bagel and it is absolutely deliciuos!!! This place is very popular, non stop people coming in but you can get in and out quickly. They are fast and you can get take-out if you are on the go.
I really like this little cafe tucked away on a second floor, on Colorado avenue. It seemed quite expensive, but the food was absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed a breakfast of Chile Verde chilaquiles and berry french toast and egg combo. Indoor or outdoor dining. Even a slight view of the beautiful Pasadena mountains. The service was 100% great.
